Health and Wellness
The Aliveness Project’s Health and Wellness program offers a holistic approach — including body, mind and spirit — for people living with HIV/AIDS to create personal ownership for managing their own health care by:
- Educating HIV+ individuals about their HIV status and what it means for daily life.
- Empowering HIV+ individuals to advocate for themselves with physicians and other service providers.
- Increasing understanding of safer-sex practices and healthy communication patterns with sexual partners.
- Encouraging HIV+ individuals to live each day fully ALIVE and VIBRANT!
