Snow Emergency Procedures
In case of inclement weather, the Executive Director will assess the weather conditions to determine whether the agency should close. This decision will be made by 7AM of the day closing (or 4 hours before a scheduled event), so that staff, volunteers and members have as much notice as possible beforehand.
- If the decision is made to close, the intial call-in message for our voicemail system will be changed to state that The Aliveness Project is closed for the day.
- We will contact KARE 11 to include our name on their TV and website listings of closings.
- We will also post a message on our Facebook page announcing the closing.
